Angelina College Radiologic Technology Program Honors Castulo Fernandez as 2024 Technologist of the Year
The Angelina College Radiologic Technology program proudly announces Castulo Fernandez as the 2024 Technologist of the Year. Chosen by his peers, Fernandez’s exceptional skill and dedication in radiologic technology earned him this prestigious honor.
The Angelina College Radiologic Technology program is renowned for its rigorous curriculum and hands-on clinical training. Each year, students rotate through eight East Texas facilities, gaining invaluable experience in various healthcare settings. Being selected as the Technologist of the Year is considered a significant achievement within the community, reflecting Fernandez’s outstanding performance and dedication.
With five years of exemplary service at Woodland Heights Imaging Department, specializing in surgery cases and excelling in CT and Diagnostic Radiology, Fernandez has become a respected figure in the field. Additionally, he led the Angelina College Surgery Lab in 2023, showcasing his commitment to education and mentorship.
The award ceremony will be held on April 30th at 11:30 am in the Health Careers 2 Building main classroom. Join us in congratulating Castulo Fernandez for his outstanding achievement.
