Inspiring Student Voices in the Legislative Process
This month, the Office of Student Affairs, along with members of the Angelina College Student Government Association, attended Community College Day at the Capitol in Austin. The students had the unique opportunity to directly engage with state senators and local representatives, learning valuable insights on how to effectively advocate for education.
It was an incredible experience that provided students with a deeper understanding of the legislative process and the importance of their voices in shaping education policy. We’re already looking forward to our next trip!
