The Commencement Ceremonies are held in the AC Activity Center, also known as Shands Gymnasium.

Guest Guidelines

We kindly remind everyone of the guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for all attendees. Your cooperation in adhering to these rules is greatly appreciated.

Prohibited Items

To maintain a dignified atmosphere during the ceremony, we prohibit the following items in the gym during the ceremony.

  • Noise Makers
  • Balloons
  • Alcohol
  • Pets (exception- service animal)
  • Large banners or posters

Your understanding and compliance with these guidelines will contribute to the success of our ceremony. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to celebrating this special occasion together.

Graduate Reminders

 

Deadlines for RSVP & Regalia Orders

  • Approved students must submit the RSVP form (in your approval email) by April 18, 2025, even if not attending. 
  • If attending, Regalia orders must be placed by April 18, 2025 at 5 pm.

Check In & Parking

Graduates should arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to their ceremony start time in Hudgins Hall and park in the adjacent lot only. This will allow for family and guests to park closer to the gym for the ceremonies.

 

Regalia Guidelines:

We encourage students to express their individuality and creativity by decorating their caps (only) for the ceremony. However, please note that unauthorized stoles or cords will not be permitted during the event.

Photography Orders

Commencement photos and orders will be taken by the official photographer. All inquiries and customer service should be directed to them.

Congratulations on your achievement! Please go to www.kelliegann.com/graduation-day-pictures and sign up now to receive text alerts as soon as your pictures are online and available to view. 
  • Our new system allows you to order online within 48 hours after Graduation Day. 
  • You can also sign up for a mini-session on campus to have photos taken before Graduation day at different spots on campus in your cap and gown. Those mini sessions are available April 10th, 24th, and May 1st. Limited spots are available, and you can sign up for that with the same website.  
  • Also, nursing graduates will see they have the option to pre-order their 8×10 group photos of the Candle Lighting and Staircase group photo from the Pinning Ceremony. 
We are very excited to be returning this year to serve the AC community with great photography and quality prints and digitals.

How do I order regalia?

If attending, Regalia orders must be placed by April 18, 2025 at 5 pm.

What do I need to do to participate in Commencement?

Students who apply by the deadline and are approved to graduate will receive instructions to RSVP for participation in the Commencement Ceremony.

Where is the Commencement Ceremony happening?

Commencement will be held in the Angelina College Activity Center, also known as Shands Gymnasium. 

How do I know which school I am graduating from?

The Commencement Ceremony times are listed above for each school. A list of majors is available by clicking the hyperlink next to each ceremony time.

Do my guests need tickets to attend Commencement?

No, at this time tickets will not be issued. All are welcome to attend.

Diplomas & Transcripts

Diplomas:
Angelina College will issue a digital diploma within five days after the conferral of degrees or certificates.  Students will receive an email and/or text notification from Parchment.com with instructions on how to electronically claim their diploma.  Please note that this email is sent to the student’s personal email address – not the school email –  so it’s important to ensure that it is up to date with the admissions office. Upon claiming the diploma, the student will be prompted to verify their name and address for the printed diploma, which will be issued within 30 days after graduation.
 
Transcripts:

Official Transcripts are available within 48 hours of the end of the semester. You can request to have your transcripts sent to transfer institutions before grades are posted and they will be delivered once the term is over.
