This 8-hour course is intended for non-healthcare professionals and provides knowledge in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), an automated external defibrillator (AED), airway obstruction, and first aid care for infants, children, and adults. Once the course has been successfully completed, individuals will receive CPR + AED + First Aid Certification that is valid for two years.

This program teaches individuals how to assist the aging with Activities of Daily Life, provides a brief overview of the dementia process and what to expect when living or working with someone who has dementia, and strategies for coping and self-care. Additionally, individuals who participate in this program will participate in sensory activities to gain a better understanding of what it feels like to live with dementia.
