The Nursing Program provides quality nursing education in a culturally, racially, and ethnically diverse setting which encourages positive teaching and learning experiences. The Angelina College Nursing program is designed to permit students to enter as a beginning student or LVN and to exit with an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. The program provides pre-licensure nursing education for the associate degree level on the Lufkin campus.
We offer a multiple entry/exit program (MEEP) for students enrolled in the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program. After completing the first year of the program, students may either exit (MEEP option) or continue into the second year to complete the ADN track. Upon ADN completion, students qualify to take the NCLEX-RN Licensing Exam.
