1/7/2010 - Baseball Tryout Camp Still On Schedule

The recent spate of inclement weather may have created a scramble for rescheduling for several sporting events, but the Angelina College Roadrunner baseball tryout camp is still on schedule for this weekend.

The camp will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9th at the new Roadrunner field located on FM 819.

The camp is open to all high school seniors, or anyone with college eligibility, with an interest in playing baseball for Angelina College.

AC head coach Jeff Livin and assistant Richard Martinez will conduct the camp in a “pro-style” tryout, evaluating all baseball tools including running, throwing, hitting, hitting for power and defensive skills.

Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. the morning of the camp. Players should bring their own equipment.
