Applications will be accepted in the Angelina College Office of Human Resources for the part-time position of Distance Learning Lab Technician at its Livingston facility until the position is filled.

The Lab Technician is responsible for technology support in classes utilizing interactive television and computer technology.

Requirements: Applicants should be seeking an Associate or Bachelors degree in Computer Technology or related field. Additional Microsoft certifications or demonstrated proficiency, in telecommunications networking and in using Microsoft Windows XP and 2000, Microsoft Server 2000, and WEB CT, is preferred.

Hours: 1:00 – 5:30 Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. Daytime hours availability is needed.

Pay rate: $8.00 per hour. Hourly rate to be increased 5% upon successful completion of 90-day initial employment period. This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.
