All Angelina College Business Division real estate courses may be taken for college credit or as a continuing education (MCE) course.
Angelina College's real estate courses are founded, taught and evaluated on the concepts of content and quality. An advisory committee composed of area brokers, realtors, and other real estate practitioners representing major regional organizations oversee this program.
Often members of this committee teach the real estate classes. The classes can be taken for credit which leads to an Angelina College Certificate of Completion. This certificate has been recommended to be completed by our Real Estate Advisory Committee. These courses may also be taken to complete MCE requirements. Community Services also offers MCE courses.
All courses are approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Additionally, Angelina College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
The courses are offered on a continuing basis usually year-round. A new class begins approximately every three (3) weeks and concludes in about the same length of time. Flex-entry is available. Depending on the calendar, classes meet on consecutive week nights and/or on week-ends. As each course is offered for college credit only five courses need to be completed to meet TREC's 180 classroom hour requirement.
